Leutschach offers Sauvignon Blanc and Muskateller from the southernmost hills of Südsteiermark.
Sauvignon Blanc.
Fresh herbal and fruit notes with a juicy, sometimes fuller palate; site and maturation shape the detail.
Leutschach’s vineyards combine warm exposures with cooler air from the western mountains. Calcareous marl, locally called Opok, is an important setting. Sauvignon Blanc and Muskateller are the area’s leading varieties within Südsteiermark DAC. Explore the grape and individual vineyard for the balance of fragrance, freshness and body, rather than expecting every bottle to share the same weight.
