Terre di Offida gives Passerina a distinctive Marche identity through sparkling wines, passito and Vino Santo expressions.
Citrus, apple and flowers with lively bubbles; sweetness varies.
Dried fruit, citrus peel and honeyed notes with concentrated texture; dry and sweet expressions are possible.
Terre di Offida DOC centres on Passerina in specific sparkling and dried-grape categories. It is distinct from Offida DOCG, which includes still Pecorino, Passerina and red wines under a different specification. The spumante, passito and Vino Santo wording matters more than assuming every wine with Offida in its name has one style. Passito and Vino Santo can range from dry to sweet. Follow the wine type and sweetness statement to discover the expression you prefer.
