Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC is a protected wine origin rather than a guarantee of one identical Trebbiano variety. Its specification permits Trebbiano Abruzzese and Trebbiano Toscano, with other authorised white grapes in a smaller role. Producers can make brisk young wines or more textured expressions shaped by lees, vessels and time.
