Dark cherry, berries and spice with a dry palate, fresh acidity and firm tannins.
Buttafuoco DOC, also named Buttafuoco dell’Oltrepò Pavese, brings Barbera and Croatina together with permitted supporting grapes including Uva Rara and Vespolina. It is a dry red identity, distinct from the area’s sweet Sangue di Giuda wines. Blend and cellar choices shape its balance of fruit, acidity and tannin.
