About Valle de Colchagua

Where it grows

In the southern wine zone of Rapel, across the Colchagua and Cardenal Caro provinces of central Chile.

Colchagua includes warm inland vineyards, hillsides and areas with stronger coastal influence. Apalta, Santa Cruz, Peralillo and Marchigüe reveal different parts of that landscape. Carménère, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Syrah provide contrasting entry points, with white wines and other grapes adding variety. A smaller area or vineyard name is more informative than assuming one flavour from the broad valley label.
