Piedirosso, Sciascinoso.
Cherry, red berries and floral notes with a gentle prickle; sweetness depends on the wine.
Penisola Sorrentina DOC includes several colours and named subzones. Gragnano and Lettere are particularly associated with lively red frizzante wines, while the wider denomination also offers other expressions. Piedirosso and Sciascinoso are important red grapes in the local story. Gentle frizzante is different from a fully sparkling spumante, and sweetness varies by wine. Read the subzone and style wording to choose the bottle that fits the occasion.
