Victoria wines span cool coastal and upland vineyards as well as warmer inland country in southeastern Australia. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay offer an inviting introduction around the Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula, while Shiraz opens another red-wine route. Rutherglen’s sweet fortified Muscat and Muscadelle-based Topaque bring a different tradition. Explore the particular region to discover how this compact state makes room for so many contrasting styles.
