Malvasia di Bosa DOC centres on Malvasia di Sardegna. Its wine range includes still wine, Riserva, sparkling wine and passito. Traditional aged examples can develop nutty complexity, but that character does not describe every bottle. The protected wine area is smaller than the wider Planargia IGT, which follows a different geographical and production framework.
