Aleatico di Gradoli reveals an aromatic red-wine tradition beside northern Lazio’s Lake Bolsena.
A sweet red expression with rose, ripe berry and dried-fruit notes.
Concentrated berry and floral flavours from dried grapes, with a sweet finish.
Aleatico di Gradoli DOC centres on the fragrant red Aleatico grape. Its range includes the standard wine, passito and liquoroso types, with distinct production approaches. Floral aromas do not make Aleatico a white grape. The lake-area origin is separate from other Italian Aleatico denominations, so read the full name and wine type together.
