Pignoletto
Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto offers a focused Bologna-hills white-wine identity, from fresh bubbles to textured still wines.
Citrus, apple and flowers with a dry, gently textured palate.
Citrus and orchard fruit with fresh bubbles and floral detail; sweetness varies.
The DOCG is based on Grechetto Gentile, the grape traditionally associated with the Pignoletto wine name. It includes several wine types, with still, frizzante and sparkling expressions following their respective rules. Classico adds a more specific historical growing area. The denomination differs from the broader Emilia-Romagna DOC, even when both use the same grape. Read the exact origin and wine type to choose between gentle refreshment and a fuller still expression.
