Pellaro offers red and rosé wines from the southern edge of Reggio Calabria’s vineyard country.
Pellaro IGT has a specific southern Reggio production area and recognises red and rosé wines. It allows producers to work with several permitted grapes, so neither one variety nor a single maturation method defines the origin. Compare the blend and wine type for the individual bottle. The name should not be extended to every wine produced in Reggio Calabria.
