DryCrisp mineral
Cinque Terre pairs dry coastal whites with the concentrated sweetness of Sciacchetrà.
Fresh orchard and citrus fruit with a savoury finish; proportions and maturation vary.
A concentrated dried-grape sweet white with dried-fruit, honeyed and nutty nuances.
Cinque Terre’s wines draw on Bosco, Albarola and Vermentino. The familiar dry white and Sciacchetrà are different expressions: Sciacchetrà uses dried grapes and is sweet, with greater concentration and developed complexity. The steep coastal landscape connects them, but the wine name matters when choosing a bottle. Neither should be confused with Ormeasco Sciac-trà, a rosé from western Liguria.
Cinque Terre/Cinque Terre Sciacchetrà DOC. 2 wines in Singapore.
