Tualatin Hills wines explore the northern Willamette Valley’s windblown soils and small-estate vineyard stories.
Cherry, berries and floral detail with fresh acidity and a fine or more savoury texture.
Pear, citrus and a fresh, dry palate.
Tualatin Hills is an AVA recognised in 2020, associated with Laurelwood windblown soils over older geological material. Its name is distinct from Laurelwood District, a neighbouring AVA within Chehalem Mountains. Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris offer contrasting introductions to suitable local vineyards; the AVA itself does not require those grapes.
