San Martino della Battaglia gives Friulano a distinctive Garda-side identity, with dry whites and a separate fortified expression.
Apple, flowers and almond-like notes with a fresh, dry palate and gentle breadth.
This small cross-regional DOC centres on Friulano, historically known here as Tocai and locally as Tuchì. It differs from neighbouring Lugana, whose signature grape is Turbiana. Dry white wine offers a fresh introduction, while liquoroso identifies a fortified category with its own character. The full appellation and wine type are especially useful in this close patchwork of southern Garda origins.
