Cannellino di Frascati explores the sweet white-wine side of Rome’s famous hillside vineyards.
Malvasia Bianca di Candia, Malvasia del Lazio.
Sweet white wine with ripe fruit, floral notes and a rounded texture.
Cannellino di Frascati DOCG is a sweet white wine led by Malvasia Bianca di Candia and/or Malvasia del Lazio. It shares the Frascati landscape with dry Frascati Superiore and the separate Frascati DOC. The similar names conceal a useful difference at the table: Cannellino belongs to a sweeter tradition, rather than being another name for the dry white.
