Greco di Bianco is a precious dried-grape sweet white from Calabria’s southeastern coast.
Greco Bianco.
Concentrated dried-fruit and honeyed notes with a sweet, warm palate; maturation adds further complexity.
Greco di Bianco takes its name from the town of Bianco as well as the local Greco Bianco grape. Drying the grapes before fermentation creates a concentrated sweet wine with developed fruit and aromatic depth. It is distinct from dry Greco-based wines elsewhere in Italy. Look for the complete denomination when seeking this small coastal speciality.
