Lake Erie brings a lake-influenced grape belt spanning New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Concord
Fruit-led wines in a region with extensive native-grape plantings. Compare the label for sweetness and grape origin.
The AVA crosses three states. Its New York vineyards share the influence of Lake Erie, while soils and sites vary across the wider boundary. Native grapes such as Concord sit alongside hybrid and vinifera plantings. This shared AVA keeps one canonical catalogue identity and appears in New York through regional membership.
