Primitivo
Salento’s broad wine origin, with familiar reds and rare grapes ready for discovery.
Dark berries, herbs and spice with a savoury, rounded palate.
Dark berries and flowers with lively fruit and firm tannins.
Citrus, flowers and a fresh, dry finish.
Negroamaro.
Red berries, citrus and a refreshing, dry palate.
Salento IGT allows many grape wines and blends. Negroamaro and Primitivo are familiar starting points, while Susumaniello and white varieties reveal other sides. More specific DOC names identify distinct origin rules within the peninsula.
