Bonarda dell’Oltrepò Pavese introduces Croatina’s lively red fruit, often with the gentle bubbles of a frizzante wine.
Croatina.
Blackberry, cherry and violet notes with fresh acidity, gentle bubbles and a grippy finish; sweetness varies.
Bonarda here is the wine name for a Croatina-led denomination. It should not be read as proof that the bottle is made from the different grape Bonarda Piemontese. Still and frizzante expressions give contrasting drinking experiences, and sweetness varies. Look for secco, amabile or other sweetness information alongside the wine type. Its generous berry fruit and freshness make it a distinctive route into Oltrepò’s everyday red-wine culture.
