Apetlon is a wine village within the Neusiedlersee region, not a separate DAC. It is one of the municipalities associated with the more specific Seewinkel designation for qualifying sweet wines. Local cellars also offer dry wines and different grape expressions. The village name therefore does not establish sweetness by itself.
