Ogliastra introduces wines from eastern Sardinia’s striking meeting of hills and sea.
Ogliastra IGT covers a defined area that includes towns such as Jerzu, Lanusei and Tortolì, as well as other specified municipalities. It allows white, red and rosé wines rather than one prescribed regional blend. Jerzu also has a separate role within Cannonau di Sardegna DOC. The full label helps distinguish these overlapping geographical stories.
