Gaglioppo
Cirò DOC offers Gaglioppo reds and rosés alongside Greco Bianco whites near the Ionian coast.
Gaglioppo.
Red fruit with savoury and spicy notes, fresh acidity and firm tannin.
Greco Bianco.
Fresh orchard and citrus fruit with a gently savoury finish; a dry white route.
Cirò is a broader wine range than its red-wine reputation alone suggests. Gaglioppo leads reds and rosés, while Greco Bianco provides the white route. The distinct Cirò Classico DOCG now has its own rules and geographical scope. Read the complete designation, vintage and ageing mention to distinguish a fresh Cirò from a more mature or differently classified bottle.
