Abona reveals Tenerife’s southern vineyard slopes, from warmer lower sites to high mountain country.
Citrus and white fruit, with freshness and body varying by elevation and producer.
Abona DO spans a wide range of elevations, so its vineyards do not share one growing condition. Listán Blanco is an important white grape, with other traditional varieties and red wines adding diversity. Its southern setting differs from Tenerife’s northern valleys. Follow the producer’s vineyard altitude and wine type to explore the contrast between freshness, ripeness and texture.
