Távora-Varosa brings Portugal’s mountain freshness to a long-standing sparkling-wine tradition.
Malvasia Fina, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir.
Fresh citrus and orchard fruit, with bread-like complexity developing through bottle ageing.
Távora-Varosa DOC is particularly associated with sparkling wines, but its range also includes still wines. Cool, elevated vineyard settings help preserve acidity. Malvasia Fina, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir offer familiar routes into the bubbles. The separate Terras de Cister PGI provides a broader framework; the two protected names should be read distinctly.
