Valle de Osorno offers a cool southern Chilean discovery, including distinctive Pinot Noir projects.
Pinot Noir.
Fresh red-fruit flavours with supple tannin; a representative estate expression rather than a rule for all valley wines.
Osorno’s wine subregion extends across parts of Los Lagos and Los Ríos rather than stopping at the city boundary. Projects around San Pablo, including Coteaux de Trumao, document Pinot Noir in this southern landscape. That is a producer example, not a mandatory valley grape. Compare the vineyard and wine type to explore a still-developing region with varied approaches.
