Lazio IGT is a region-wide protected origin, broader than the individual DOC and DOCG areas around Rome, Viterbo and Frosinone. Its range spans white, red and rosé wines with further specified sparkling, dried-grape and late-harvest types. The designation does not prescribe a signature grape. Look for variety, vineyard and producer to find the particular story behind each bottle.
