Loncomilla Valley is a rewarding route into Maule’s old-vine reds, with País traditions and the lively structure of Carignan.
Red cherry, flowers and earthy notes with a fresh, gently rustic palate.
Dark and red berries with firm tannins, lively acidity and a savoury finish.
Valle del Loncomilla is a formal wine zone containing several smaller named areas. Its plains and western hills offer different vineyard settings, so the valley name alone does not define one soil or winemaking approach. País connects local growers to an older wine culture, while Carignan from documented Loncomilla vineyards adds another red expression. A VIGNO label signals a producer collective’s requirements in addition to the wine’s geographical origin.
