Buzet AOP covers red, rosé and white wines. Merlot and the Cabernet family give a familiar introduction to the reds, while the river-linked landscape provides a local southwestern French identity. White wines take a different route through permitted varieties such as Sauvignon and Sémillon. The appellation is broader than one cooperative or village address.
