Casablanca Valley offers a cool coastal-Chilean route into Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Bright fruit and refreshing acidity, often with citrus and herbal notes; harvest and cellar decisions affect intensity and texture.
A fragrant red alternative with red-fruit character and freshness; oak and extraction vary by producer.
Casablanca is its own wine subregion within Aconcagua’s larger geographical framework. Pacific influence helps distinguish its vineyards from hotter inland valleys. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are useful starting points, though other varieties also grow here. The name describes origin rather than one cellar method: a fresh tank-made white and an oak-aged Chardonnay can both carry it. Compare grape and vineyard information for a more precise choice.
