Zweigelt.
Cherry, berries and gentle spice with a fresh or more structured, savoury palate.
Blaufränkisch.
Dark berries, pepper and firm tannins with lively acidity.
Pinot Blanc.
Apple, pear and flowers with a dry, gently textured finish.
Carnuntum’s DAC system includes both red and white wines. Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch are rewarding red introductions; the Arbesthaler hills and Spitzerberg offer different settings. Village and vineyard names make the broad origin more specific.
