Deutsch Schützen introduces a southern Burgenland village with a strong Blaufränkisch identity in the Eisenberg landscape.
Dark cherry, berries and savoury spice with fresh acidity and a dry, structured finish.
Deutsch Schützen is a wine-growing village within the Eisenberg region, rather than an independent DAC. Its hillside vineyards and named Rieds offer smaller geographical stories within the broader southern Burgenland setting. Blaufränkisch is an inviting introduction, while a producer’s range may include other varieties and origins. Read the actual protected designation and vineyard statement to connect a bottle to the village’s local growing landscape.
