Bianchello del Metauro gives Biancame a fresh white-wine home along the river hills of northern Marche.
Biancame.
Apple, citrus and light floral notes with a fresh, dry palate.
Bianchello del Metauro DOC centres on Bianchello, another name for the Biancame grape. Its river-valley origin differs from the region’s better-known Verdicchio areas. The denomination includes different wine types, so a fresh still white and a more concentrated expression should be read through their complete labels. Producer and vineyard choices help explain variations in body and texture without changing the central local grape identity.
