A small island, a fragrant grape and a richly sweet red wine.
Aleatico.
Rose petals, ripe berries and dried fruit in a sweet, concentrated style. A small glass is a lovely partner for berry desserts or dark chocolate.
Aleatico grapes are dried after harvest, concentrating their perfume and sweetness. This is a dessert wine, rather than a dry island red.
