Colli Aprutini is a historical label for the Teramo hills, linking older bottles to northern Abruzzo’s varied vineyard country.
The Colli Aprutini IGT registration was cancelled in 2026. Properly recorded existing stocks can still be sold, so the name remains useful when exploring older bottles. Its historical area was broader than Colline Teramane DOCG, and the two names should not be treated as interchangeable. Local reds, whites and rosés reflected a range of grapes and producer choices. Use the bottle’s grape, vintage and original label details to discover its particular expression of the Teramo landscape.
