Garraf brings a coastal Penedès perspective, with limestone landscapes, Mediterranean light and the aromatic appeal of Malvasia de Sitges.
Citrus, flowers and stone fruit with aromatic intensity and a fresh, dry finish.
Xarel-lo.
Apple, citrus and herbal notes with gentle texture and a savoury finish.
Garraf is a geographical area, not a standalone DO. Its administrative district and the wider limestone massif do not have identical boundaries. Malvasia de Sitges carries a particularly strong local heritage, while Xarel·lo gives another white-wine route through the coastal landscape. Producers such as Torre del Veguer document both grapes in local vineyards. Malvasia can be made in different styles, including dry and traditional sweet expressions, so its name alone does not establish sweetness.
