Rümmelsheim introduces the Nahe wine landscape through named vineyards such as Johannisberg.
Citrus and orchard-fruit flavours with fresh acidity; sweetness and texture vary with the individual wine.
Rümmelsheim is a wine-growing locality within the Nahe region. Its registered sites include Johannisberg, Schloßberg, Hölle. The locality origin is broader than any one vineyard: read the complete site, grape and sweetness statement when comparing bottles. An estate address alone does not identify the origin of a wine’s grapes. Burg Layen is a part of Rümmelsheim, and Burg Layer occurs as the locality form on documented vineyard labels.
