Terras Madeirenses wines. in Manitoba

Terras Madeirenses is a PGI, distinct from both Madeirense PDO and fortified Madeira PDO. Its permitted grape palette offers room for different white, red and rosé expressions, with qualifying sparkling categories also recognised in the modern framework. Arnsburger and Syrah illustrate two permitted varietal possibilities rather than a required island blend. The protected geography spans contrasting island settings; not every vineyard shares Madeira island’s steep volcanic slopes.
