Umbria IGT opens a broad regional wine journey, combining local grapes with flexible blends and international varieties.
Apple, citrus and herbal notes with a fresh palate and textured finish.
Cherry, plum and savoury herbs with a dry palate and lively acidity.
Umbria IGT is a region-wide protected geographical indication, distinct from the region’s individual DOC and DOCG origins. White, red and rosé wines can follow several grape and wine-type routes. Grechetto and Sangiovese provide accessible local starting points, with international varieties and different blends broadening the range. A smaller vineyard statement or producer’s sourcing information can add geographical detail within this broad framework. Read grape and wine type to understand the individual expression.
