A centuries-old meeting of Tuscan Sangiovese and Cabernet.
Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Canaiolo.
Cherry and dark berries meet herbal detail and a structured finish. Riserva wines offer a richer, more developed expression.
Cabernet belongs to the local tradition here, rather than being a recent substitute for Sangiovese.
