Sebino offers a flexible still-wine and passito perspective from the vineyard landscape best known for Franciacorta.
Apple, citrus and stone fruit with freshness and texture shaped by the cellar approach.
Plum, dark cherry and gentle herbs with a dry palate and rounded tannins.
Sebino IGT takes its name from Lake Iseo’s older geographical name, but the production zone is defined rather than covering every vineyard around the lake. White, red, novello and passito wines form its range, with several named grape expressions. Chardonnay and Merlot provide accessible starting points. It differs from both Franciacorta DOCG sparkling wine and Curtefranca DOC still wine, allowing producers another framework for their local vineyard ideas.
Sebino IGT. 1 wine in Manitoba.
