Castelfranco Emilia IGT preserves a local white-wine story around the plains between Bologna and Modena.
Montù leads the Bianco blend; permitted supporting white grapes vary.
Apple, citrus and gentle floral notes with a fresh palate.
Older bottles and records may use Bianco di Castelfranco Emilia, while the current IGT is presented as Castelfranco Emilia. Montù leads its Bianco blend, while named Moscato and Trebbiano expressions offer different white-wine routes. The name should not be confused with Emilia-Romagna DOC or with every wine produced in the municipality. Follow the full label and vintage when exploring this smaller protected origin.
Castelfranco Emilia IGT. 1 wine in Manitoba.
