Greco
Greco di Tufo brings a textured, fresh white-wine identity to the hills of Irpinia.
Greco leads, with Coda di Volpe permitted in a supporting role.
Citrus, pear and herbal notes with bright acidity and a dry, textured finish.
Greco is central to Greco di Tufo DOCG, with Coda di Volpe permitted in a supporting role. The small protected area is distinct from the broader Greco grape story elsewhere in southern Italy. Still wines are an inviting starting point, while sparkling expressions also belong to the denomination. A dry palate, freshness and texture make the wine a useful table companion; producer and vineyard choices create the finer differences.
