Older bottles may carry delle Venezie IGT. In 2017 the IGT took the name Trevenezie, while a separate delle Venezie DOC was introduced with a focus on Pinot Grigio. Trevenezie IGT continues to offer a wide range of grapes and colours; the similarly named DOC follows its own production rules. Read the full designation and vintage when comparing labels, rather than treating an older IGT bottle and a current DOC as the same wine category.
