PGI Arkadia covers a wider wine story than white PDO Mantinia. Moschofilero remains an important local reference, while the district also gives producers room for other grapes and wine expressions. Elevation and cool growing conditions are central to its appeal. Read the actual designation when choosing between still, rosé or sparkling bottles: a grape grown around Mantinia does not automatically make every wine PDO Mantinia.
