A longstanding Uco wine village, with old Malbec and a Semillón tradition to rediscover.
Plum, berries and flowers with fresh fruit and a supple, savoury texture.
Blackcurrant, herbs and spice with a firm, layered palate.
Citrus and orchard fruit with a textured, dry finish; age can bring waxy and nutty notes.
La Consulta’s wine-growing heritage includes older vineyards and varied alluvial soils. The broader village name and the more specifically defined Paraje Altamira origin are useful distinctions when exploring labels.
