A small Belice Valley DOC with Catarratto whites and expressive Nero d’Avola reds.
Catarratto, Ansonica and Grillo.
Citrus, pear and herbs with a dry, textured finish.
Citrus and orchard fruit with a fresh, rounded palate.
Nero d’Avola, Merlot and Syrah.
Dark cherry, plum and warm spice with a generous, savoury finish.
Ripe berries and pepper with a fuller, firmly shaped palate.
Salaparuta’s white blend is Catarratto-led and its red blend is Nero d’Avola-led. Named varieties such as Grillo or Syrah offer another way into this compact vineyard origin.
