Verdicchio
Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva offers a more developed white-wine journey through the hills around Jesi.
Verdicchio.
Citrus peel, orchard fruit and almond-like detail with a dry, layered palate and fresh acidity.
This DOCG identifies the riserva expression of Verdicchio from the Castelli di Jesi area, with its own requirements alongside the broader Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC. Classico adds a more specific historical-area reference where applicable. Verdicchio remains the central grape, while producer and ageing choices shape texture and aromatic development. The denomination is distinct from the inland Matelica origin, despite their shared signature variety.
