Bosco Eliceo explores Emilia’s coastal plain through Fortana and a distinctive wine landscape near the Po delta.
Fortana.
Red berries and savoury notes with lively acidity and a gentle prickle; sweetness varies.
Bosco Eliceo DOC offers several wine types, with Fortana a particularly local red-grape introduction. Sandy coastal and delta-related landscapes form an important part of the area’s identity. Gentle frizzante wines bring another dimension, but the bottle’s specific style and sweetness should be checked. The denomination is separate from Fortana del Taro IGT near Parma, despite the shared grape. Read the exact origin to follow the wine’s own landscape.
