Dorsheim introduces lower-Nahe vineyard slopes, with Riesling and names such as Burgberg bringing the landscape into focus.
Citrus, apple and peach with floral detail and lively acidity; sweetness varies.
Dorsheim is a wine village with several sites rather than a single vineyard name. Burgberg illustrates Riesling grown on slopes with quartzite, loam and other components. Nearby sites can differ materially, so the village should not be reduced to one soil description. A producer may also work vineyards in other villages. Read the wine’s exact origin and sweetness to identify the expression you are exploring.
