Pirque pairs Maipo’s Cabernet tradition with an Andean foothill setting, offering fresh, structured reds beyond the bustle of Santiago.
Black and red berries, herbs and spice with fresh acidity and a firm, savoury structure.
Pirque is a more specific origin within Maipo Valley. Gravelly river deposits and foothill sites provide varied settings for Cabernet Sauvignon and red blends. Estates here may also make wines from fruit grown in other Chilean valleys, so a Pirque cellar address does not establish the origin of every bottle. Look for Pirque on the wine’s origin statement when exploring the local vineyard character.
